This is my go to place, when I’m in the mood for some good food. Never disappointed. Service is always great, from the greeter to the servers. I love coming here.

Good Puerto Rican cuisine. Only thing was the mondongo was very salty, but everything else was on point!

I do not live in Hialeah area but this was my third time at Casa del Mofongo. It was once again excellent food, service and casual interesting atmosphere. I do recommend it!

We were greeted by Melanie and asked what we like to drink and given menus. We selected our food and politely asked if they could turn down the music. Our request was immediately implemented and we waited for the food to arrive.

Best Mofongo ive had in a while. & great customer service, I like how the owner walks around and makes sure everything is good he even takes orders! :)

If you have not stopped here.. You must live under a rock somewhere in Hialeah. I love this restaurant! All dishes are great! We have even ordered our Thanksgiving meal from them. Best CubaRican food ever! 🇨🇺 🇵🇷 They have live music on weekends and very family welcomed. Breakfast is also great here.

I took my entire family for dinner and to watch a flamenco. My family is from Spain, and we had just gotten back from Madrid. They did a phenomenal job with the flamenco and music. My mom enjoyed so much..My dad, who is from Spain, passed away last year, and use to go to El Rinconcito. It was a very special time for my mom. Food was good. But the best was the show.

Wow!!! What an excellent find. This place has outstanding dishes from both Cuba and Puerto Rico. Not sure if this is every weekend but they had some live music making the environment pleasant. We went back during the week and food was once again on point no live music. Server was very polite and attentive. If visiting Miami area this restaurant will not disappoint.

I have come here for lunch and dinner, always delicious and very reasonable in prices. The service is always friendly, and if you celebrate your birthday you are treated to a show topping Happy Birthday with music, candles and singing. Every dish I have ordered has always been fresh and hot, never disappointed. I highly recommend this restaurant for couples, family, friends, etc.

Best Puerto Rican food in Hialeah.

Pretty impressed with the place, the food was awesome and the staff very polite and fast. Sorry I didn't take any pictures. It was too good.

Good food, though the prices are a bit high and the wait staff are not always prompt. We really enjoy the vegetable paneer dish with cheese and spinach purée. The chicken byrani is really good, but I kept biting into whole star anises. What shocked me was the fact that I didn't mind the anise as much, I tend to strongly dislike anise but the seasoning profile made it taste good even with the anise.

Tasty food. But staff... They kept talking loudly with each other, watching videos on the phone, forgot half of my order. I had to wait a long time for them.

Good flavors on the oxtail and mofongo. The Rice and beans were nothing special. My only concern was that food came out too fast and wasn't as warm as I would have liked which to me indicated that it had been prepared before and was sitting for a while. If it was kept a little warmer and brought out a few minutes later, I wouldn't even have noticed. Overall a nice meal. Ordered: Oxtail with Mofongo and rice and beans.

I love this place , the puertorican food is amazing and their morcillas are to die for along with the mofongo with shrimp in its creole sauce. Amazing i highly recommend this Restaurant.

On July 27, 2019 my family and I were going to El Rinconcito De Santa Barbara to have dinner. Everything was going swell, until a random guy with a hat that said “LATINOS UNIDOS”, that the manager allowed to speak entered the restaurant. First of all, I don’t go to a restaurant to hear a communist rant about his views. I’m hear to enjoy a meal with my family in peace. The guy had an agenda to speak about how Latinos have to unite as a culture against the American government, due to the immigration policies. The thing that bothered me the most is that he is trying to IMPOSE is views on the crowd in the restaurant. Let’s all analyze this situation: of course he going to protest his views because IN HIS OWN COUNTRY HE IS NOT ALLOWED TO DO THAT BECAUSE HE WILL GET KILLED. If you are going to impose you views about how bad this county is THEN GO BACK, but you love the benefits of this country. So I would never ever again come back to this restaurant.

Best Caribbean Spanish food you could ask for. To get a better selection you have to actually go and visit the island. The food was very good quality, authentic and the staff are very friendly.

Casual place, but prices are very decent and food is delicious. Customer service has always been good here. You may have your car washed across the parking lot while you eat.

From all places I have been this one was a bit different. Parking was a little difficult to get, life DJ one man band was ok but a bit to load, service was fast and friendly, prices were in the mid range for the kind of food this restaurant themed, food taste and ingredients were not authentic, roasted pork was extremely salty. Management offered a replacement with out me asking at no extra charge which that was good. I say this establishment should do better.

Great place for Lunch or Dinner family environment is the best.

A solid, traditional Cuban restaurant. I live in Hialeah and am surrounded by Latin restaurants... All of which I've eaten at. They have big portions, good quality, and focus on traditional food. Can't say it's healthy, but the old timers called this place home and preferred it over the rest. It gets packed, it's the real deal.

All in all, you must try this place out when you have a craving for Puerto Rican cuisine. They have Cuban dishes as well.We were both excited after reading reviews and seeing pictures of what is being dished out at this spot! The restaurant is tucked in a strip mall off of the 826 and would have never known about his place if it wasn't for a random recommendation from a customer at work.

The food is amazing and delivered on time. Excellent customer service. 4th time ordering and my associates bragged about the food being so good at My company event picnic.

Eating in El Rinconcito De Santa Barbara is a must for anyone in the Hialiah/Miami area. I am of Puerto Rican decent and can honostly say the food is authentic and mouthwatering. I also enjoy the love in the decor honoring both countries. Finding a parking space can be a little challenging though.
